Aidao Nunnery

The earliest public nunnery in Sichuan, this Ming dynasty (1368–1644) nunnery was completely rebuilt in 2001. The small courtyard and two central halls are an oasis of calm, particularly in comparison to the non-stop bustle of the popular Wenshu Temple nearby.
