Alambique Paratiana

Set beside the rushing Rio da Pedra Branca, Paratiana offers free tours of its cachaça distillery, where gleaming stills share space with giant casks of oak and native umbu-rána wood and a collection of vintage bottles (including a rare one depicting soccer star Pelé). Afterwards head downstairs for free tastings. Plans are underway for an outdoor restaurant by the riverside.
