Archaeological Museum

The archaeological museum houses superb examples of local sculpture, including a tremendous 12th-century makara tokarna (entrance decoration) that has detailed carvings on both sides and a remarkably explicit Lajja-Gauri image of a fertility cult that once flourished in the area. There are many sculptures of Shiva in different forms and there's a diorama of the Shidlaphadi cave. No photography permitted.
