This curio-crammed, windowless, church-like museum details the local exploits of explorers Bligh, Cook, Furneaux, Baudin and, of course, Bruni d’Entrecasteaux. The engaging collection includes maps, charts and manuscripts – crowned by the remains of the tree to which Cook is said to have tied up his ship, and Bligh's original diary from his stop in Adventure Bay in 1792.
