Cathedral of the Sacred Heart

The French were granted permission to build this Roman Catholic cathedral after the second Opium War, between 1863 and 1888. Constructed entirely of granite in the neo-Gothic style, its twin spires soar to an impressive 48m. English Mass is held at 3.30pm daily.
