Clemenceau Heritage Museum

Housed in a refurbished state school dating to 1924 (Cottonwood's heyday) this worthwhile volunteer-run museum reanimates everyday life in the Verde Valley since the 19th century. The precisely reconstructed schoolroom looks as though the pupils just streamed out to recess, while the room-sized working diorama of the Valley's rail network is a must for model railway buffs. Donations accepted.
