Curly Flat

Winner of awards aplenty, this winery 12km northeast of Hanging Rock takes its name from the much-loved Michael Leunig cartoon character. Its pinot gris and chardonnay are extremely impressive, but it's the pinot noir that's particularly notable. Nibbles, such as pâté, rillettes and terrine (all $11), are available if you're keen to take small bites while tasting.
