East Pagoda

The East Pagoda is a Tang structure that was, according to Chinese sources, destroyed by an earthquake (western ones say it was destroyed by the Muslim revolt in the mid-19th century) and renovated as recently as 1983. The small surrounding park is a hang-out for senior citizens.
