Ecological Park

A big draw on tiny Cormorant Island, this hidden nature park consists of a small marsh guarded by a clutch of starkly beautiful dead trees (most of them still standing) that eerily resemble totem poles. Nature trails wind through the sodden grounds, some of them on boardwalks. It’s a mystical spot that is faintly redolent of Florida’s everglades.
