Gloucester Island

Part of the northern Whitsundays, tree-swaddled Gloucester is so close to the Queensland mainland at Hideaway Bay that Captain Cook declared it 'Cape Gloucester'. Quiet and lovely, it hosts two very basic camp sites – the more accessible Bona Bay, and East Side Bay.
