Goaty Hill Wines

The view from the corrugated-iron cellar door at this scenic vineyard, 7km east of Beaconsfield, is hard to beat. Come for a tasting (the chardonnay, pinot noir and riesling are well regarded), but stay for a glass under the tall stringybark trees beside the vines. Book ahead for a gourmet vineyard platter ($60) or Tasmanian cheese plate ($25).
