Hanafi Mosque Minaret

This beautiful snow-white minaret is all that remains of the historic mosque named after one of the four great imams of Sunni theology, Abu Hanifah. It's a wonderful example of medieval Ottoman architecture and rises up over crumbling Hejazi buildings in a narrow alley in Al Balad. Walk down the covered market leading from Al Basha and take the fifth alley on your left.
