This very pleasant manicured park in Corolla preserves 39 acres of gorgeous sound-front and sound-side property that was once the waterfowl- and duck-hunting playground of wealthy Northeasterns Edward C. and Marie Louise Knight. The park includes the Whalehead Club, the red-brick Currituck Beach Lighthouse and the modern Outer Banks Center for Wildlife Education.
