Iglesia Preciosa Sangre de Cristo

From the plaza, steps rise to this handsome 17th-century church with a fine broad churchyard and colorful 18th-century frescoes inside. It was built atop a Zapotec ceremonial site, many of the carved stones of which can be seen in the church walls; look especially in the inner patio.
