KwaMuhle Museum

This was formerly the Native Administration headquarters, where Durban’s colonial authorities formulated the structures of urban racial segregation (the ‘Durban System’), which were the blueprints of South Africa’s apartheid policy. Exhibitions on apartheid are housed in various rooms leading off a central courtyard.
