Mackenzie Printery & Newspaper Museum

This ivy-covered museum was where the esteemed William Lyon Mackenzie once edited the hell-raising Colonial Advocate. Geek out over the Louis Roy Press, the oldest wooden press in Canada (there are only seven left in the world!). Or try your hand at setting a moveable type. Or better yet, make a DIY souvenir using a colonial-era printing press. Enthusiastic young staff conduct tours every half-hour.
