Museo de la Cuenca del Usumacinta

If it's open, the one-roomed Museo de la Cuenca del Usumacinta, opposite the immigration office, has some information in Spanish on the area’s postconquest history. Pride of place goes to two fine and intricately carved stelae retrieved from the nearby site of Dos Caobas.
