Museo Yanque

This university-run museum is unexpectedly comprehensive for a small village, explaining the culture of the Cañón del Colca in conscientious detail. Exhibits include information on Inca fabrics, cranial deformation, local agriculture, ecclesial architecture and a mini-exposé on Juanita, the ‘Ice Maiden’ now on display in Arequipa. It's opposite the church on the plaza.
