Parque Estadual de Campos do Jordão – known locally as Horto Florestal state park – is 14km northeast from Capivari and home to the largest araucária reserve in the state. Activities on offer include a wealth of walks of varying levels of difficulty. The reception desk, near the trout farm, can supply you with maps but is only open Thursday to Sunday.
