Pont del Bisbe

One of Barcelona's most-photographed pieces of architecture, this Gothic-style marble bridge links the Palau de la Generalitat with the Casa dels Canonges. Though appearing centuries old, it was in fact created in the 1920s by Modernista architect Joan Rubió i Bellver (who added the underside skull-and-crossbones when his plans for other buildings in the Barri Gòtic were turned down).
