Proveniershuis

Off Grote Houtstraat southwest of the Grote Markt is one of Haarlem's prettiest buildings, the Proveniershuis. It started life as a hofje (almshouse) and for a time became the headquarters of St Joris Doelen (the Civic Guard of St George).
