Qishan Old Street

This charming old street has tonnes of snack and dessert shops tucked into faux-baroque facades and crumbling Fujian-style courtyard houses, as well as newer structures. A highlight is the old Qishan Train Station, in a quaint Tudor style. Qishan Old Street was once a lively marketplace for bananas. Plenty are sold here still – the valley is full of banana plantations.
