This state park is on the western outskirts of town, accessible via FM 2288 (Loop 2288) off W Ave N (which becomes Arden Rd west of downtown), US 87 or US 67. The 7600-acre park surrounds the 1950s reservoir, OC Fisher Lake. More than 50 miles of trails are popular with animal- and bird-watchers.
