San Pedro Island

This gorgeous desert island is inhabited by only 500 people, mainly fishers and their families, and has a lovely white-sand beach and good snorkelling. It's possible to camp here or hire a beach hut (P250 a night) from locals. Snacks are available from stores but it's best to bring food supplies.
