Schei Gate

In Saxon Braşov, Romanians were banished to the Schei quarter in the southwest; entry to this quarter from the walled city was marked by the Schei Gate. The spiky turrets of the structure here today date to 1827, a reconstruction after the gate was damaged by fire.
