Shrine of Sayyida Ruqayya

This is one of the most important shrines in the Al Khalifa area, dedicated to Sayyida Ruqayya, the Prophet's granddaughter. Inside, the stucco mihrab (niche in mosque indicating direction of Mecca) has been painstakingly restored.
