Site of Communist Underground Organization

This red-brick shíkùmén building was used for early CCP underground secret meetings; the primary school within was a front for the covert gatherings. It's one of Shanghai's numerous CCP museums aimed at party hardliners. It includes a few quirky interactive exhibits to lighten the mood; displays are in Chinese. Enter via Jing 'an Sculpture Park.
