The restored 17th-century St Hedwig’s Bastion once housed a Prussian garrison and French prisoners during the Franco-Prussian war of 1870. Beneath the turf embankment you can now find Nysa's tourist office and a few restaurants and bars.
It's located two blocks northwest of the Rynek.
