St John’s Fig Tree Church

This 1680 stone church is famous for displaying – in a glass case in the back – a copy of the marriage record of Horatio Nelson and Fanny Nisbet. If you peek beneath the red carpet in the center aisle, you’ll find a continuous row of tombstones of island notables who died in the 1700s.
