Stonehaven Bay

Northeast of Mt Irvine, this fabulous sweep of coarse yellow sand, also known as Grafton Bay, offers some fabulous swimming and bodyboarding in clear emerald waters; the eastern end is calmer. A couple of large-scale hotels overlook the sand, one of which has a beach bar selling lunch and drinks. It's a great spot for sunset watching, too.
