Tomb of Sultan Al Ariffin Syeikh Ismail

Born in Baghdad in 1464, Sultan Al Ariffin Syeikh Ismail, a distant relation of the prophet Muhammad, reached Pulau Besar in 1495. From here, he helped spread Islam in the region.
