University of the Philippines Marine Science Institute

By far the best use of your time in Bolinao is a visit to this research facility–cum–visitor centre. Researchers at the institute's laboratory cultivate coral-producing giant clams and transplant them to Hundred Islands National Park and as far away as Australia and Malaysia.

The institute is about 1.5km east of Bolinao wharf; look for a marked right turn 200m before the pier.
