University of Vermont Morgan Horse Farm

Known for their strength, agility, endurance and longevity, and named after Justin Morgan, who brought his thoroughbred Arabian colt to Vermont in 1789, these little horses became America's first native breed, useful for heavy work, carriage draft, riding and even war service.
