Extending one gorgeous mile along Nantucket Sound, this is the south side's mecca for swimmers, windsurfers and kiteboarders. It's a good bet for finding a parking space on even the sunniest of days, as the parking lot ($20 to $25) extends the full length of the beach, with room for 1000 cars.
