Worthington State Forest

An especially rugged section of the water gap where the Appalachian Trail passes through, dotted by 14 rock-basin lakes. Campsites are available. The area is especially excellent for birding – on any given day, you can see hawks, bald eagles and ravens soaring over the treeline.
