Avea Bay

Find some of the island's best beaches around this bay. The lagoon is wide and good for swimming. The best beach is at Relais Mahana. Further on the road comes to a junction. To the left is the little village of Haapu; to the right the road leads to a bridge from where you can continue the island tour.
