Down by Málaga's port, this offshoot of Paris' Pompidou Centre is housed in a low-slung modern building crowned by artist Daniel Buren's playful multicoloured cube. Thought-provoking, well-curated main exhibits rotate through on an annual or bi-annual basis, drawing on the museum's vast collection of contemporary art. There are also audiovisual installations, talking 'heads' and temporary exhibitions.
