Churei-tō Pagoda

One of the classic Fuji postcard views has this five-tiered red pagoda in the foreground surrounded by cherry blossoms. It's actually a war memorial, accessed via a breathless set of 400 steps rising up through Sengen Park on the slopes of Arakura-yama. The park starts a few minutes up the hill from Shimoyoshida Station.
