City Park

There's loads going on at this shady park. It's home to enormous oak and plane trees, an over-the-top Victorian fountain, a conservatory, a Victorian bandstand and a playground for kids. Everyone loves the glass-walled Japanese macaque enclosure (8am to 4pm), a gift from Japanese sister-city Ikeda. There's even free wi-fi.
