Crown Point State Historic Site

The ruins of two major 18th-century forts, the British Crown Point and the French St Frederic, occupy a dramatic promontory where Lake Champlain narrows and the Lake Champlain Bridge connects New York and Vermont. The views are lovely and there's also a small museum on site.
