Emancipation Park

This grand open space at the center of New Kingston is a lovely place for a stroll or a spot of people-watching over a takeout patty under a shady tree. Check out the controversial statue Redemption Song, by Laura Facey Cooper. It depicts a couple of nude, 3m-tall figures gazing to the heavens – play art critic and pass approving or prurient comments as you see fit.
