At the upper, southern limit, beyond the box-hedged rose garden and Museo delle Porcellane, beautiful views over the Florentine countryside unfold.

Within the lower reaches of the gardens, don't miss the fantastical shell- and gem-encrusted Grotta del Buontalenti.
