Grande Mosquée

Towering over Plaza Uta El Hammam, the Grand Mosquée and its unusual octagonal minaret were built in the 15th century by the son of the town’s founder, Ali Ben Rachid. Like all mosques in Chefchaouen, it is closed to non-Muslims.
