This site is of cultural significance to Native Hawaiians and is off-limits to the general public.There are an estimated 2000 Hawaiians laid to rest here, dating back to 610 CE. The burial site is covered with well-maintained grass and flanked by a native hau hedge. Hawaiians believe that their ancestors' spirits continue to protect these lands; please respect the signage.
