Mayagüez' central square is one of Puerto Rico's most attractive and intimate, shaded by the Catedral de Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria on its east side. It's a leafy place to sit and watch the city go by. Right in the middle is one of the city's best cafes, Friends Cafe.
