This riverfront promenade between Praça do Comércio and Cais do Sodré is a focal point along Lisbon's continually regenerating waterfront. With broad views over the Rio Tejo, it's a fine place for strolling, lounging, reading, cycling or kicking back with a coffee at the kiosk. This is the closest Lisbon gets to an urban beach.
