Westward Beach

At this west-facing beach, the surf thunders and rip currents can be strong (so you'll want to be a strong swimmer), but the water is crystal clear, and sea lions, seals and dolphins are frequent visitors. You can even glimpse whales in the winter. If you get here early you should find free parking on Westward Rd.
